I love every aspect of my job, from DJing to being an MC and everything in between. One of my passions, however, is lighting, and sometimes I get the pleasure of being able to focus all of my energy on lighting for an event. Such was the case last Saturday in Stansbury, UT, where we were able to provide Stansbury High with the most epic school dance production they have ever seen. Don’t believe us? I’m a firm believer that school dances should be much more than a routine ritual; it should be an experience. After all, if you’re forking over money and building up the courage to ask out a cute girl or guy, shouldn’t you have the time of your life? I think so.
So that’s exactly what we did! SLC Mobile DJ (Salt Lake Event Lighting) provided metal trussing and a plethora of programmed, intelligent lights to accompany the amazing DJ talent at Argus entertainment. The excellent administration and staff at Stansbury allowed us to safely disable the smoke detectors and use our pro-grade haze machine, which really made the light show pop. While Austin of Argus entertainment threw down hot track after hot track on the decks, Jordan (Salt Lake Event Lighting) kept the lights in sync with the music, creating dramatic scenes and moods to match the intensity of each song.
