If you’ve spent any length of time exploring our website, Facebook page, Instagram account, or Wedding Wire, you’ll notice there are a few claims we never make. We don’t claim to be the “cheapest deal in town,” nor do we claim to be “the lowest priced DJ in SLC!” One claim that we do make, however, is to providing you with an unforgettable experience. We don’t charge the “average” price because, quite frankly, you deserve more than an “average” event.
So how does our pricing work? It’s as unique as your event is. While we would love to just throw up some hard figures and say “Here! This is what it is!” there is a lot more that goes into pricing than that. Don’t worry, we’ll give you some starting numbers, but what we would really love is to chat with you. We won’t take much of your time, just enough to get a feel for your vision and what we need to do to make it happen. Hiring a DJ is no small investment, and we want you to feel 100% comfortable with your choice.
Many people think that when hiring a DJ, you’re simply hiring someone for 4 hours (or however long your event may be). However, price varies depending on a number of different factors. For example, we spend up to 30 hours in prep alone for a wedding, not including the time to pack, travel, setup, takedown, etc. A sweet 16, on the other hand, doesn’t require that level of planning. We also factor in our costs for equipment, travel, business costs, the latest in training and education, and everything else that we need to provide you with the best, most professional service possible.
So why do we charge what we do? Because that’s what it takes to provide you with an experience you and your guests will never forget. There will always be someone who can provide a service cheaper than another, but do you want to take chances at your event? When you hire a DJ, price shopping isn’t the answer.
